"Tolong Bilang Ini Mimpi" is about a person's fear of meeting the unalterable truth that one had been fearing for a very long time and about an urgent wish for it to be nothing more than a dream. Recalling the song about fears from his/her own past, the narrator bemoans the way his/her fears turned into reality and that he/she became emotionally unprepared in spite of all efforts to prepare oneself for the things to come.
