Tonga Tonga ‘Tonga Tonga’ is the type of Telugu folk song which is capable of instantly uplifting the mood of its listeners. The song is sung with such zestful spirit by Mangli that it abounds in taunting, youthful spirit and the vivacious rhythms of a village celebration. The very catchy line ‘tonga tonga’ of the lyrics as well as the teasing nature of the back and forth lines in the lyrics make the song appear more of a community song sung at the dance/festival rather than a film song.
